8 members of the 13-member ensemble cast have been assembled and we are looking to cast the remaining five roles.
Actors will be invited to participate in cold readings from the script. Auditions will be conducted in two one-hour slots 10 am to 11 am and 11 am to 12 pm. Please bring picture and resume to your scheduled audition appointment time and be prepared to fill out and audition information sheet with any conflicts.
We are auditioning for the roles of:
Uncle Charlie Aiken
Married into the Weston family. Sixty years old, Caucasian, meat and potatoes man. He is generous with his smile, kind with his words, will assert his authority when needed.
Karen’s (the youngest of the Weston sisters) fiancé, forty-nine years old (we will consider a younger actor who can play a youthful forty-nine). Caucasian, All-American type, clean-cut. polite and smart, with some not-so-desirable entitlement practices.
Sheriff Deon Gilbeau
The local sheriff, forty-seven years old. Caucasian. A gentle giant type with a good head on his shoulders and a good heart. He is the “outside world” influence in the Weston family drama.
The only grandchild in the Weston family. Fifteen years old. Caucasian. Because of the issues addressed in the script we are looking for a 20+ actress who can play a mature fifteen year old.
The housekeeper, twenty-six+ years old, of Native American heritage. Johnna is the grounding, Gaia-Mother Earth, presence in the Weston household during a most troublesome and chaotic family experience.
