Theatre in the Dark – Pre-Show at “Memphis”

Here is another Monday installment of Theatre in the Dark — a behind-the-scenes look at a current production to celebrate the day of the week when most professional theaters are not in use, or “dark.”

Today’s Theatre in the Dark is a fun look at the pre-show atmosphere in Chad Kimball’s dressing room at the Tony-award winning musical Memphis on Broadway. Wigs and spirit gum and quick changes, oh my! I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel like I’m more amazed that performers continue to do quick changes at that pace every night than some of the stuff they do onstage!
