HIS FIND: Help Produce the Revival of Godspell – Broadway’s First Crowd-Funded Show

Ken Davenport, the producer of the upcoming revival of Godspell, is hoping to bring a radically new business model to the Broadway stage. Instead of charging $10,000 or even $100,000 per unit to be named as an investor, you can buy in for just $100 a unit. Every investor will be named on a show poster and on the website and potentially receive other VIP opportunities.

HER FIND: Billy Crudup to Reprise Role in Arcadia Revival

Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia is one of his least disguised intellectual masterpieces. First debuting on Broadway in 1995, Arcadia flips back and forth between two-time periods. The characters straightforwardly discuss mathematics, physics, and determinism. Crudup originated the heady role of Septimus in the original Broadway production, and has since enjoyed a successful film career, while returning periodically to the stage.
