HIS FIND: Winslet, Foster, Waltz and Dillion to Star in God of Carnage Movie
God of Carnage, the winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play, will be turned into a major motion picture, directed by Roman Polankski and starring Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and Matt Dillion. God of Carnage, written by Yazmina Reza, portrays a meeting between two sets of parents after their children argue on a playground. While the meeting begins in a civilized manner, both couples eventually slip into childish behavior while trying to solve their children’s dispute. Shooting for the film will begin in 2011.
HER FIND: Washington Shakespeare Company Offers Shakespeare in Klingon
Shakespeare and Star Trek nerds will mix and mingle this Saturday, September 25, when the Washington Shakespeare Company performs Shakespeare’s most memorable scenes first in English, and then in Klingon. The event celebrates George Takei’s decision to join the WSC, and lucky audience members will finally find out whether they had ever experienced Shakespeare before they heard it in the original Klingon.
