And Toto Too Theatre Company (http:// http://www.andtototoo.org), a not-for-profit theater company producing new works by women playwrights, today announces their expanded production schedule with their 2011 Season.
First up, the regional premier of Car Talk by Lucile Lichtblau, running March 2-31, 2011 –Rosalie has just surprised her middle aged, middle class jewish parents Ed and Millie with the news that she has a girlfriend. Car Talk is a funny and poignant look at commitment all within the intimate confines of a car.
And Toto too’s second production will be the World Premiere of Whacking the Turkey by Karla Jennings running throughout October 2011. Whacking the Turkey gives us a world where the President of the United States has just been elected American Idol style-get ready for President Bible Spice, and a world where nothing is what it seems.
And Toto too will begin their development series starting with a workshop production of local playwright Carrie Printz’s Tumbling Inn-with two weeks of open rehearsals culminating in a final rehearsal production with audience feedback.

Whacking the Turkey will run throughout October 2011
Performances at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Denver Victorian Playhouse located at 4201 Hooker Street in Denver.
Tickets are $20.00 – $22.00 Wednesdays and Thursdays and will be $11.00 on Cheap Date Tuesdays.
