Devil’s Thumb Productions is coming to an end. A group with endless energy, ambitious selections, and admirable support for the other companies in the Boulder area, the members are moving on to bigger, better things in different locations.
With bittersweet best wishes, we thank them for their contribution to the Colorado theatre community!
From Devil’s Thumb: Laura’s going to grad school on the east coast, Alex is moving into film production in LA, Nick’s already in Chicago, and Anja is pursuing professional theatre goals in the Colorado area, so we decided to run with those dreams and let Devil’s Thumb go out with a bang. We’ve accomplished a lot and are incredibly proud of everything we’ve done as a company, but there’s more for each of us theatrically (so we promise this won’t be the last you see of the DTPers!). We are ending with BUG as our last show ever, and we want to thank you for all your support in our three seasons, from starting two years ago with our no-set, rehearse-in-our-basement 2-actor production of Jack and Jill to the thriving production of Bug in a realistic motel room featuring amazing professional actors, designers, and director, in the same performance space where it all began.
Thank you for your support, your donations, your patronage, your feedback, and being a wonderful audience to our wonderful dream to successfully run a theatre company. It’s been a fun ride and we couldn’t have done it without our Boulder fans. A huge thank you, as well, to everyone who has worked with us along the way: the actors, directors, designers, stage managers, crew hands, and volunteers. What a great run we had!
