Summer foreCAST: No Child at Afterthought

No Child, Afterthought, Denver, Theatre, Theater, Reviews

From the Afterthought website: This one person cast presents a tour de-force exploration of the New York City public school system. An insightful, hilarious and touching master class not to be missed by anyone who is concerned about the state of our education system and how we might fix it.

WHEN: July 13 – July 22, 2012

WHY WE ARE EXCITED: We’ve been fans of Afterthought for a while, and admire their bold approach to controversial issues. They don’t side step them or sugar-coat them, and what’s even more important, are always able to turn them into conversation-worthy, quality theatre. We’ve never seen a one-person commentary on the state of education in our country, but we trust Afterthought to turn this important social issue into an interesting evening of theatre.
