10/1-10/2 Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep by LIDA

THE LIDA PROJECT ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR ‘NOW I LAY ME DOWN TO SLEEP’

The LIDA Project Experimental Theatre Company will hold auditions for development and ensemble performers for it’s latest work ‘Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep’ on October 1, 2011 from 9:00am to 5:00pm and October 2, 2011 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

ABOUT:
A 6-part meditation on health, care, mortality and dying in the United States. This epic will be created in a unique collaboration between the LIDA Project and a group of guest directors providing a broad and diverse theatrical voice. Development directors include Brian Freeland, Josh Hartwell, Tonya Malik-Carson, Jaime Lujan, Brenda Cook Ritenour, Thomas Sheridan & Kenny Storms.

NEEDED:
8 Women / 8 Men . Race/age/ethnicity not important. All types considered for all roles. Physical theatre experience preferred.

Please prepare 1-2 minute dramatic monologue or movement piece. Auditions by appointment only. Rehearsals begin October 15th, 2011. Opens December 2, 2011 and runs Thursday-Saturdays through December, 17th 2011.
