The Edge Theater announces auditions for “A Small Fire,” by Adam Bock and directed by Robert Kramer. This is a regional premier and will be its first time produced outside of New York, where it was part of the last season at Playwright’s Horizons. Obie Award winning playwright Adam Bock’s plays include The Drunken City, The Receptionist, and The Thugs. In “A Small Fire,” a tough-as-nails contractor finds her senses slipping on the brink of her daughter’s wedding. The impact on her family is nothing less than seismic and unexpected loss leads to an unlikely love story.
