3/12 & 3/13 Circle Mirror Transformation at TC Layfayette

AUDITION NOTICE for Theater Company of Lafayette (TCL)

THE PLAY: Circle Mirror Transformation, written by Annie Baker; directed by Jeanie Balch.

Called “Absorbing, unblinking and sharply funny. . .” by the New York Times, Circle Mirror Transformation follows five people through a summer of “creative drama” in their small town’s adult acting class. Led by their bohemian acting coach, the five experiment with seemingly harmless theater games that unexpectedly lead to poignant discoveries about themselves and each other. At turns surprisingly funny and subtly insightful, this revealing play reminds us why theater is the most human of all arts.

AUDITION DATES: March 12 and 13 at 7 – 9 p.m. (Callbacks, if necessary, will be March 15)

Pick one night to attend; no appointment necessary. There will be cold readings from the script. Bring a resume and headshot, if you have one. Please be prepared to list all date conflicts.
