Town Hall Arts Center Announces Auditions for Evita

The first production of the 2011-12 Season at Littleton Town Hall Arts Center will be Evita, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The production will run from September 16 through October 16, 2011, with direction and choreography by Nick Sugar and Musical Direction by Donna K. Debreceni. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin in early August.

Based on events in the life of Argentina’s strong-willed leader Eva Peron, the musical traces her rise from struggling actress to wife of Dictator Juan Peron and virtual co-ruler of the country. Needed are men and women age 18 – 50 and 2 boys and 2 girls, age 6 – 12. See website for details on characters and vocal and other audition requirements: http://www.townhallartscenter.com . All positions are paid.

Auditions will be held on Monday, June 20th by appointment only. Children may schedule a time from 4:00 – 5:15 pm. Adults may reserve a time between 5:30 – 10:00 pm. Contact Janet at jmurray@townhallartscenter.com (303-794-2787 x211) for an audition time.
