Rocky Mountain Deaf Theatre, or RMDT, is holding open auditions for David Mamet’s, “Speed-The-Plow,” on Sunday, June 3, at 4 p.m., performances will run August 10 through August 12, 2012, at the Dangerous Theatre.
Bobby Gould– (30s, 40s ASL male) Hollywood executive with new responsibilities, ambitious and realistic
Charlie Fox– (30s, 40s ASL male) Hollywood producer, desperate, trying to get a film made and cynical
Karen– (20s ASL female) temporary office assistant to Bobby Gould, ambitious and earnest. All Actors are in fluent America Sign Language (ASL) PLUS two males and one female voice interpreter shadows.
RMDT’s purpose is to provide the Sign Language residents of the Front Range Area the opportunity to participate in quality live theatre as a Deaf and Hearing audience member, actor, or production worker. RMDT serves as the region’s theater organization providing ongoing cultural, educational and social enrichment. We are continuing our purpose of offering the community the opportunity to participate in the theatrical process, thus bringing the best in live theater to the Front Range Area–theatre forthe Deaf community and Hearing community.
