6/4 & 6/5 Wizard of Oz at Inspire Creative

Inspire Creative will be holding open auditions for The Wizard of Oz.


Saturday, June 4, 2011 1pm – 6pm
Sunday, June 5, 2011 1pm – 6pm
Children only from 1-3pm each day
Adults only from 3-6pm each day

Monday, June 6, 2011 6pm-9pm

Required:Head Shot and Resume of past experience. (Past experience not required).
Wear comfortable, appropriate clothing and shoes for movement (no sandals or flip flops).
There will be a dance audition; we will teach it, then see how you are able to repeat it.
Monologueand Song: Come with a 1 minute monologue that will show your abilities and a prepared song with sheet music (accompanist provided) 16-32 bars in length. Acappella or CD accompanied songs not permitted! Time does not permit singing complete songs, so understand we will stop you when we have heard what we need to hear. We may also ask you to sing something we choose.

After a tornado whisks away a young Kansas farm girl, Dorothy, to the magical land of OZ, she starts her quest to find the mighty Wizard of Oz who has the power to send her home. Along the way she meets a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman and a Cowardly Lion who help her on her journey. *This version includes many of the songs from the famous MGM musical
