The Catamounts will be auditioning for our production of Jenny Schwartz’s God’s Ear on Wednesday, July 27th, from 4pm to 8pm.
God’s Ear will be directed by Amanda Berg Wilson, The Catamounts’ Artistic Director.
Previews are on September 29th and 30th, and performances are October 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15. All performances will be at the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder, CO. All performers receive a stipend for their work on the project.
Auditions will take place in Studio 9175 of Naropa University’s Nalanda Campus, located at 6287 Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder, Colorado. The Nalanda campus, at 63rd and Arapahoe, is accessed by heading north on 63rd off of Arapahoe; there is ample parking in front of the building. Enter the front door and follow the signs.
Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Sides will be available to performers once they have completed the auditions form.
We are casting the following roles:
Mel, mid to late 30’s, mother
Ted, mid to late 30’s, her husband
Lanie, 8-10, their daughter
The Tooth Fairy, ageless
Flight Attendant/GI Joe, ageless
Lenora, 20s-40s, a lady at a lounge
Guy, 20s-40s, a guy at a bar
Please note: some roles will be filled with returning ensemble members, who are auditioning and have casting priority.
