“The only easy answers to the whole thing are these: Stricker, Sherrill, and Davies are wonderful talents giving remarkable performances, the show is hysterical, and you are sure to witness something you and your guests will talk about for days after.”

LASTING IMPRESSION: Apparently Parlour Song is lighter than Jez Butterworth’s usual fare, but this production was able to show real thoughtful complexity in a somewhat simple story. We actually had very different reactions to this production – we both enjoyed it, but had very different thoughts and feelings in response to it. The result? An interesting conversation that came up over and over again in the weeks after we saw it.
