Town Hall Arts Center Announces

Auditions for Wizard of Oz

Town Hall Arts Center will be holding auditions for the John Kane adaptation of the beloved motion picture screenplay of L. Frank Baum’s Wizard of OzTown Hall’s production will be directed by David and Julie Payne and choreographed by Kelly Kates with Music Direction by Donna Debreceni. Rehearsals begin early October, 2011, with performances opening November 11 – December 31, 2011

Adult auditions will be held August 7th from 3:00-6:00 PM. Children ages 9-17 auditions will be held August 7th from 1:00-2:45 PM and callbacks will be held Sunday, August 14th from 1:30-5pm. Please prepare 16 – 32 bars of music, and a one to two-minute monologue appropriate to the show.

Everyone auditioning must provide: sheet music for piano accompanist in the correct key (no CD’s or a cappella singing will be accepted), a current headshot and theatrical resume.
